Combined with the included short column, this full sized tripod can be lowered to just 4.35 inches from the ground. Another benefit of the multi-angle leg locks the tripods ability for easy set-up and positioning on uneven ground or steps.

This is a sturdy carbon fibre tripod that I bought for my Sony A550. It goes up to eye-level height. I’m not a professional, but this is a solidly made tripod. I’m using this ball head Slik SBH-200DQ Ball Head with Quick Release, Dual-Bubble Levels, Maximum Load 8.8 Lbs.. A good combination!

This is our first decent tripod and we were very impressed with it. Very compact when closed and sturdy when open. It holds our D90 with a mid weight Tamron 18-270 lens and feels very stable and also the Nikon 70-200 f2.8 with out feeling unsteady.
